Single Hung Windows
With the addition of foam filling, higher balance values and additional color and grid options, there are no limits to the applications of our premium single hung windows. Seasonal changes in temperature and outside noise are kept out with our standard unique glazing process. A tilt-in bottom sash facilitates cleaning, advanced multi-chambered fusion-welded sash and frame are rugged and durable, resisting bowing and bending.
They feature a bottom sash or panel that moves vertically. When the window is opened, the bottom sash slides open, partially obstructing the upper sash, which remains fixed. The difference between these and double-hung windows is that the latter’s lower and upper sashes can be opened.
Our single-hung windows are sealed tightly to work against the elements and increase energy efficiency.
Why do you need single-hung windows?
Enhanced security. These window types have one way of opening and closing. Since single-hung windows only open in one direction, their locking system is highly failproof, making them the more secure option
Space-saving. Since these windows don't open outward or take any interior space, they add sufficient light and breeze to a room, making the room appear and feel bigger.
They save energy. The windows have less room for air infiltration, making them more energy-efficient. Replacing your windows with single-hung windows increases efficiency owing to the energy-efficient insulation, glass, and frames
Money-saving. Generally, single-hung windows are more affordable since they have fewer moving parts. Their energy efficiency also helps you save money on electricity bills.
Versatility. They are relatively simple and move in one direction. Single-hung windows also come in various shapes, trims, and finishes to select from to match your style and preferences.
